The purpose of this Policy is to inform visitors to the website hosted at the following address: www.jourdansquare.be (hereinafter referred to as the “website”) of the way in which data is collected and processed by the controller.

This Policy reflects the controller's desire to act transparently, in compliance with its national provisions and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free circulation of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “General Data Protection Regulation”).

The controller pays particular attention to protecting the privacy of its users and therefore undertakes to take the required reasonable precautions to protect the personal data collected against loss, theft, disclosure or unauthorised use.

“Personal data” is defined as all personal data relating to the user, i.e., any information that allows the user to be identified directly or indirectly as a natural person.

What data do we collect?

The controller collects and processes, in accordance with the procedures and processes described below, the following personal data:

  • all information concerning the pages that the user has visited on the website.

The controller may also collect non-personal data. This data is considered to be non-personal as it does not allow identification of a specific individual either directly or indirectly. It may therefore be used for any purpose whatsoever, for example to improve the website, the products and services offered or the data controller’s advertising.

In the event that non-personal data is combined with personal data in a way that makes it possible to identify the persons concerned, this data will be treated as personal data until it becomes impossible to link it to a specific person.

Purposes of processing

Personal data is collected and processed solely for the purposes set out below:

  • to manage and monitor the provision of the services offered;

  • to answer user questions;

  • to produce statistics;

The controller may carry out processing operations that are not yet provided for in this Policy. In this case, the controller will contact users before reusing their personal data, to inform them of the changes and give them the opportunity, where appropriate, of refusing this reuse.

Rights to your personal data

Users may exercise their legal rights of access and correction free of charge at any time. It is also possible to request the correction or deletion of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant, or to request that processing be restricted.

Users can also object to their personal data being processed for direct marketing purposes.

You can ask us to correct and/or update your personal data.

Recipients of data and disclosure to third parties

The recipients of the data collected and processed are, in addition to the controller itself, its employees or other subcontractors located within the European Union who collaborate with the controller in connection with the provision of services.

The controller complies with the legal and regulatory provisions in force and will ensure in all cases that its partners, employees, subcontractors or other third parties with access to this personal data comply with this Policy.

The controller discloses users’ personal data in the scenario where a law, legal proceedings or an order from a public authority makes such disclosure necessary.

The controller does not transfer any personal data outside the European Union.
